How the calculation works

Productive hours = scheduled hours × utilization ÷ 100.

Minimum hourly capacity = daily paddy weight × peak factor ÷ productive hours.

The planning range adds a 20–35% reserve above this minimum. These percentages are editable planning assumptions in the calculation code, not a manufacturer’s recommendation. All results are paddy input, not finished-rice output.

Why utilization matters

Loading, cleaning, adjustment and minor stops consume time. The default example is 5,000 kg/day, 10 scheduled hours and 80% utilization, giving 625 kg/h before a reserve. Replace those inputs with your records.

Can an N90 meet this target?

Compare the result with the confirmed working output of the actual configuration. At higher targets, assess a larger machine or more productive hours. If whole-grain quality is the main goal, also compare two-stage or multi-stage equipment.
